Endeavor DNA Laboratories Now Performing COVID-19 RT-PCR Testing

Endeavor DNA Laboratories is pleased to announce its recent clinical expansion to help serve the greater El Paso community in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. This expansion has enabled the laboratory to become a CLIA registered, biosafety level 2 laboratory authorized to perform onsite COVID-19 RT-PCR testing.

PCR testing, also known as polymerase chain reaction, involves a trained healthcare professional collecting fluid from a nasal or throat swab. The test detects the virus’s genetic material and provides results in 24 to 48 hours of the initial collection. Endeavor DNA Laboratories is not offering antibody or antigen testing as RT-PCR testing is considered the gold standard for COVID-19 viral detection. 

Serving the greater El Paso community, as well as Las Cruces and Juarez, MX, this test is offered as private pay for the cost of $129.00. Onsite sample collection for companies wanting to test their employees is also available upon request. All testing is by appointment only to avoid lengthy wait times and lines.
