The Mid-America Forensic DNA Conference is set to make its mark again in Columbia, MO on April 9-10, 2024. Featuring an experienced line-up of speakers representing organizations that are making a difference in the forensic arena. On April 8, 2024, before the conference starts, we will be hosting one information packed workshop: the Technical Leader Summit. The ABC Forensic DNA Certification workshop has been canceled due to low registration. However, there will be a presentation at the conference concerning the ABC Forensic DNA Certification. Additional information on the workshops can be found below.

Over the course of two conference days, you will hear from experienced speakers and be able to participate in Q & A sessions. This will be an informative time to hear and learn about forensic DNA processes, challenges, successes, and obtain your continuing education credits.

Canceled

The ABC Forensic DNA Certification workshop has been canceled due to low registration. However, there will be a presentation at the conference concerning the ABC Forensic DNA Certification.

Technical Leader Summit

The Technical Leader Summit will be lead by Kyra Groeblinghoff from the St. Louis County Police Department, cost $100.00, and go from 10am to 4:30pm on April 8th (lunch will be provided). Below is a brief description of the workshop from Kyra:

As you know, the CODIS conference has recently moved to an online event only. Unfortunately, this means we can no longer participate in the DNA Technical Leader Summit in person. I will be starting an annual Technical Leader Summit event, outside of the CODIS conference. This year the workshop will be held on April 8th, day prior to the conference.

I know how valuable the Technical Leader Summit has been and I know I am not alone!
