We understand that Endeavor DNA Laboratories provides critical DNA testing services worldwide, so we felt it necessary to share with you how we are maneuvering through these stressful times and ensuring business continuity.
To be clear, we have no intention of closing. We have been deemed an essential business serving judicial systems worldwide, and as such, will continue to test your DNA casework with the same diligence and care you have come to expect from us.
For the safety of our staff and to ensure business continuity, effective immediately, we are no longer accepting walk-in or scheduled appointments at the laboratory. If you were planning on stopping by the laboratory to have your sample(s) collected, please call our Customer Service team at +1 (915) 519-1600, and we will be able to assist you with an alternative location for sample collection. As of today, our contract DNA sample collectors are still taking appointments, but this could change in the coming weeks. As we receive more information from our contracted DNA sample collectors, we will provide updates on our website.
Inside our facility, we are taking every precaution to keep our employees safe and healthy. Per CDC guidance, we have introduced additional disinfecting procedures throughout our facility. However, with the rapid spread of COVID-19, there is always the possibility of exposure. As such, we are prepared for the possibility of staff shortages as employees will be required to self-quarantine. In the event this occurs, it is possible our current turn-around times may be extended. If we believe this will affect the processing of your casework, we will notify you promptly.
